Pest control questions, answered.
The things people ask us most on the phone: prices, the guarantee, how long you're out of the house, termites and booking. Can't see yours? Call 02 6105 9771.
What areas do you cover?
All of Canberra and the ACT, plus Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra, Googong and Bungendore. See every suburb.
How soon can you come out?
Usually the same week. Book online to see the times we have free, or call 02 6105 9771 if it can't wait.
How do I book?

What are your hours?
Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We're licensed, fully insured and Termidor accredited for termite work.
How much is general pest control?
$249 for 1 to 3 bedrooms, $289 for 4 to 5, and $349 for 6 or more. That covers inside and outside, and you get a written report. Ants are a separate treatment.
What do other treatments cost?
Ants $289. Rodents $289. Wasps and bees $289. End-of-lease flea treatment $169. Termite inspection $289 on a slab, $320 with a subfloor. Termite treatment is quoted after an inspection. All prices.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. 6 months on general pest treatments and 3 months on rodents. If the pests we treated come back in that time, we come back and treat again at no charge.
Do I have to leave the house?
Yes, for about 2 hours. Everyone, pets included, stays out for the hour we're treating and for an hour after, while it dries.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
Yes, once the 2 hours are up. We use APVMA-registered products and explain the re-entry time before we start.
How long does a visit take?
About an hour for a general pest treatment. Termite work and bigger commercial jobs take longer; we'll give you a time when you book.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
It depends on the treatment. Each one has a short guide: preparation guides.
Will I get a report?
Yes, after every visit: what we found, what we treated and anything to keep an eye on.
Do I get the same technician each time?
Where we can, yes. We're a family business, so it's usually the same person who answered the phone.
How often should I get a termite inspection?
Once a year for most Canberra homes. More often if termites have been found nearby or on the property before.
Do you do pre-purchase inspections?
Yes. A timber pest inspection to AS 4349.3 with a written report, usually the same day. Pre-purchase inspections.
What happens if you find termites?
You get a written report of what we found and a quote for treatment. We use Termidor.
Do you give a termite warranty?
Qualifying Termidor work comes with a structural warranty, kept current by a yearly inspection.
Is general pest control the same as termite treatment?
No. General pest control covers spiders, cockroaches, silverfish and slaters. Ants, rodents and wasps are separate treatments. Termites are a separate job again, built around a barrier and a warranty.
Do you remove bees?
We move bee swarms on rather than kill them where we can. European wasp nests are treated and removed.
How fast can you do a wasp nest?
Usually the same day. Call as soon as you see one; nests get bigger and angrier the longer they're left.
Do you do possums?
Yes. We remove possums from roofs legally, with one-way exclusion, and seal up how they got in. Possum removal.
Do you treat the pet for fleas?
No. We treat the house. Your pet needs its own flea treatment from your vet or pet shop, done the same week.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes: offices, cafés and restaurants, shops, schools and strata.
Do you work with strata and property managers?
Yes. We can book regular treatments and give you reports for the committee or manager.
Can you deal with my tenant or landlord?
Yes. Tell us who to talk to, whether that's the property manager, the landlord or the tenant, and we'll sort the visit with them.
Can I book regular treatments?
Yes. Most people book a yearly or seasonal visit so the protection doesn't lapse.
